We have constructed Mexican CAMSIS scales for four decades using IPUMS-I data. The scales were constructed using semi-automated algorithms in Stata.

• IPUMS-I also has data available for 1960, 1995 and 2005. We did not construct a scale for 1960 since that data is not organised into households and the occupational units stored on that sample lack detail. The data from 1995 and 2005 could be used for further scales, but we haven't done so yet.
